Grimes Storehouse is open to Grimes residents to shop once a month for food and clothing. Quantities are based on family size and typically supplies 5-7 days of food. Fresh produce and meat are available as well as canned and packaged food normally found in a grocery store. Personal care, baby and household cleaning items are also available. All items are based upon availability and will vary from month to month.
Items to Bring:
- A Driver’s License or other photo ID
- Copy of a current rent or utility bill.
- Information about each family member living in the household.
- Please bring your own reusable bags to help us put more money towards food.
We will work with you to fill out a small amount of paperwork and then start shopping!
Our store is closed for major holidays as well as when area schools are closed or delayed.
