Our vision is to empower children with clothes that promote self-esteem to remove any obstacles to learning and growing that may be created by a lack of clothing of proper fit or condition. In our Clothing Closet, Clients find clean, new, and like-new clothing arranged by size and neatly displayed on racks and shelving. Clients are always delighted to find clothes they can be proud to have their children wear and children are proud to call their own.

Making clothing donations is now easier than ever. Click on the Amazon Wish List button to view our current needs. Add items of your choosing to your cart and check out. Items will be shipped to the Grimes Storehouse. Donations are anonymous, unless you mark your order as a gift and put your name in the notes section.
When and where can I make a clothing donation?
Clothing donations are accepted at the Grimes Storehouse during the pantry’s regular hours. Please do not drop off clothing donations at our current food drop locations.
What sizes are accepted?
We will accept children’s sizes 4T through Adult Small.
What condition should clothes be in?
New/like new, clean, and in good condition
- free of stains & tears.
- no missing buttons.
- Must be clean, we do not have the ability to wash/dry.
- Socks and undergarments must be new.
Will items be accepted seasonally?
Yes – Summer items will be accepted from April through July. Fall items will be accepted from August through March.
Accepted year-round:
- Jeans, shorts
- Short sleeve t-shirts
- DCG apparel
- New socks and underwear.
Who can receive clothing?
Clothing will be available for eligible clients of the Grimes Storehouse Food Pantry. Clothing distribution will take place at the same time as receiving food services.
